Too many data teams think saying yes to all requests is how they’re being helpful & cooperative with their stakeholders, when in fact it’s the opposite.
We need to safeguard our teams from trying to tackle low-value problems and/or building the wrong solutions to high-value problems not just to retain our sanity, but to be actually *useful* to our orgs too.
The best thing any service provider team can do is to bring good structure into their delivery process, prioritisation and business engagement.
Most of all, being fully transparent and sharing your roadmap, priorities and challenges with your stakeholders will earn you trust and your stakeholders will become your true partners.
Love this story Yordan.

Very well said, Nick!
